This portfolio obtains the following. . . major and minor artifacts from the course. (ex. discussions, written work, reflective work, etc.) By looking back on these artifacts, I noticed the growth I had in my learning and writing. How the differences in my work became more genuine.

Samantha Arellano is an 18 year old student at Pasadena City College. Samantha is an academic learner who values the importance of empathy, engagement, and critical thinking. Samantha sees learning as not only an intellectual process but a personal process, using writing, literature, and discussions to better understand her knowledge of human experiences. Samantha is drawn to history because they allow her to analyze why and how something happened and allows her to see from the overlooked perspectives.
